This petition is relevant... make a stand! ETV's vulgar midnight show "BRAIN BOX" is milking the people big-time. At R7,50 per SMS, you stand next-to-no-chance of getting through to the show, let alone winning the prize-money. The show is designed to prey on the financial desperation of the masses, luring them with the hope of a big-buck-win.
However, personally, after spending R850,00 on smsing the show over 2 nights, I was no closer to even getting a call-back, let alone onto the show. Likewise, I know of many similar stories from friends. I have learnt my lesson and realise that this is a disgraceful money-making scam.
I only feel for the vulnerable and poverty-stricken who, mostly uneducated, don't understand, but probably spend their food-money on smsing in the hope of gaining this elusive pot at the end of the rainbow. ETV, where are your morals?? ETV, what are YOU doing to build a better South Africa for the people??
THIS SHOW MUST STOP! Please, add your signature and make a difference by stopping this appalling greed and exploitation of many by few.
