We believe that changing our current 5th grade class from six sections to five sections as 6th graders in 2011-2012 will create class sizes that will significantly and negatively compromise our children's learning environment and such a change is not in the best interest of the students nor the teachers at Bridge Valley Elementary, nor ultimately the Central Bucks School District, as it will interfere with their achievement performance, as well as their preparation for 7th grade at Holicong and Lenape. We have signed this petition in protest of the planned increase in class size and to demonstrate our willingness to help the school district to explore other options to meet the needs of our children and the needs of the district in the upcoming year without compromising the quality of our childrens education.
