We, the undersigned, are long-time, devoted fans of "Days of Our Lives" and applaud the recent return of several classic characters who made the show so great in the past and continue to make it totally rock in the present.
But we feel that one very important, truly beloved character has somehow been overlooked -- a character whose unique talents and eccentric, but brilliant personality are extremely relevant to current storylines.
We want the one and only EUGENE BRADFORD to return to "Days of Our Lives", as portrayed by the one and only JOHN de LANCIE.
Think of the trouble he could get into (Eugene, not John) tagging along uninvited while Steve or Bo are undercover, "helping" Max or Nick with an experiment that goes dangerously awry. Any conversation with Rolf. Any conversation with Kate or Nicole, for that matter. Think of the butts he could save: Tony's, EJami's, Marlena's, the Salem P.D., the head writers! Better still, think of the ratings he could pull in!
