"yes bring back the XJ the way it was (solid axles, etc) but maybe make it a "special edition" XJ similar to the Rubicon TJ. Use a D44 rear end, bring back the HP D30, 4to1 low range, and keep the UpCountry suspension, full skid plates and tow hooks."

"It is totally ridiculous to consider that the Liberty could ever hope to adequately replace the Cherokee. I have seen the Liberty in offroad situations and seen it stopped in places where stock cherokees and TJ would have no problems. Besides, I'm suprise"
