Brit Awards Should Have A 'Best Unsigned Band' Category

We call on the organizers of The Brit Awards to have a 'Best Unsigned Band' category. By either public vote, yearly competition or a variety of other means, we feel The Brit Awards need to acknowledge those acts who have yet to sign a record deal but are noticeably popular.
With the current diet of many music fans in the UK now consisting more and more of unsigned talent discovered mainly via the internet, we feel that by addressing the issue now The Brits can continue to be a true reflection of the British music scene.

The wealth of talent out there is phenomenal and in many cases outstrip the mainstream bands for quality. With the advent of the internet it is noticeable how fast this number is growing.
