Butler School Busing 2005

This is a petition being made on behalf of the students of Butler County High School. Recently, students within the city limits were notified by the busing company that they would either be catching their buses at school locations in the middle of the city, or they would have to walk to the high school depending on the location of their homes. However, this poses many dangers to the students, the city being one of the highest ranking drug dealing and using cities in the state. There are a series of petafiles known to the authorities living in and around the city, as well. Also, students will have to walk in the dark in the winter weather, and are not allowed to carry cell phones in case of an emergency situations. It is absurd to think that the citizens of Butler County are paying school taxes to protect their children and the school is not making an effort to do this. If they won't protect our children then we will. Thank you.
