Captioned Movies at Union Station 9

I am an avid moviegoer, and I enjoy the excitement of the long awaited anticipations of newly released movies that have been promoted to the public for months, with previews becoming increasingly exciting and impossible to ignore.
I usually check out the World Wide Web site known as www.tripod.org to see which movie theaters in the Washington DC vicinity area are showing some of my much anticipated films. I guess I have concluded that I am one of the two million people in the United States of America with a hearing loss.
As matter of fact, I am profoundly Deaf and I rely on the captions whether closed or open captioned to get the dialogues, music lyrics and noises that adds to the movie's excitement. I have been a Gallaudet University student for six years, enrolling into the university in the fall of 1997. Ever since, I would usually attend open/closed caption films in the Georgetown area, Rockville, Baltimore, and Annapolis which have subsequent showings at their respective theaters. Why would I discuss about the location of those movie theaters in Washington DC? Apparently, I am one of the few fortunate to own cars. What does this have to do with me writing a letter along with the petition to the headquarters?
As I have listed in carbon copy to Union Station 9 which is a theater operated under AMC's ownership. Gallaudet University, the only Liberal Art University for the Deaf in the world has over two thousand students enrolled, on the top of that more faculty members and staffs who are also Deaf and Hard of Hearing (HOH). It is made aware that Union Station is a mere 1.2 mile distance from Gallaudet University. Because the students and faculty/staff rely a lot on the mass transportation system, known as the Metro (underground subway) to commute daily, the University itself has a shuttle system. Shuttle buses transport students/faculties/staffs back and forth between the University and Union Station.
The shuttle buses are scheduled daily to transport the University members, making more than 20 trips each back and forth. The operating hours of this shuttle bus work from the morning rush hours until late in the evening. Often students who do not own cars would take advantage of this shuttle bus to dine at Union Station.
I am trying to conclude here, that underlined in the AMC's mission statement "To provide our guests with the best possible movie going experience," Deaf/HOH people would be at the ease of not making lengthy drives to theaters, and the Deaf/HOH students who do not own vehicles. I truly believe it is somewhat of our inconvenient that Union Station 9 does not provide captioned films, and also a profit convenient waiting to happen. In my past experiences of attending captioned films they usually show captioned films a few weeks after the releasing dates and the theaters would be nearly sold-out from the huge group of Deaf/HOH people who come to enjoy the movie.
I truly believe you can provide us with the best possible movie going experience with the showing of captioned films in Union Station 9 Theater
