We the general public, ask for Vertigo Entertainment to cast Ken'ichi Matsuyama to play the role of L in the upcoming U.S remake of Death Note.
Although there are other actors you prefer to play L, please consider Kenichi Matsuyama as one of your candidates!!!
Ken'ichi Matsuyama is the only capable and and most suitable for the role of L, as he has acted in both Death Note movies. His great skills in acting, have led to a successful spin off version (L - Change the world). His appearance, age, and capibility of acting such a unique character make him the only actor able to successfully act as L. Although his English is not very good, it can be greatly improved after intense training, or you can always hire another voice actor for him.
Please realise that the casting of L is the most important as it will effect the ratings & popularity of the movie. Casting Kenichi Matsuyama as L will keep fans of Death Note satisfied while making the U.S remake of Death Note as successful as its original!

Kenichi would bring to the film something no American actor could, that being familiarity. Death Note fans would sing praise for the new movie if they could see the L they know and love. Please Please Consider Kenichi for the role of L.

Kenichi Matsuyama is over all a phenominal acotor and i feel that he is the only one who can play L he can not be replaced. Casting Kenichi Matsuyama will bring fans from the original japanese version to see the turn out.
