We believe that the institution of marriage is foundational to the health and well-being of individuals, all forms of the family, and communities.
We believe that marriage works!
We believe that with all the problems facing marriages today, anything we can do as a nation to inspire couples to pursue a happy, healthy and committed marriage is extremely important.
We, the undersigned, would like to request that as President of The United States of America, George W. Bush, would issue a proclamation establishing the last Saturday in June as National Celebrate Your Marriage Day as an annual holiday.
