Sen. Griffos bill (S1625) authorizes a governmental agency or municipality to designate a highway or portion of highway as open for travel by an ATV.
Assemblyman Aubertines bill (S4277) increases the current weight limit from 1,000 pounds to 1,500 pounds which would allow UTVs to be registered in New York State.
Your voice is important, and if you want legal trails, and the existing trail systems to continue to expand, please sign this petition, contact your State representative, and let them know that there are many more of us, than of the few of them who want to shut down ATV riding in this state. It is time to be heard, and to drown out those who conspire against us. Please sign this petition so we can get Bills S1625 and A1082 passed.
Thank you for taking the time to fight for your right to ride. Remember, the opposition is already winning the battle, and they are fighting to close our riding areas. If you dont take the time to fight for these trails, contact your representatives, voice your opinion, or sign this petition, you might as well sell your ATVs and take up golf.
At completion the petition will be printed and Hand Carried to our elected officials in Albany.
