A spectre is haunting EFnet--the spectre of ChatBuddy.
All the Powers of old EFnet have entered into a holy alliance to
exorcise this spectre: piggy and hardy, comstud and oz,
French Radicals and German police-spies.
Where is the eggdrop in opposition that has not been decried as
flood bot by its opponents in power? Where is the eggdrop
that has not hurled back the branding reproach of "Holla back!!",
against the more advanced opposition parties, as well as against
its reactionary adversaries?
Two things result from this fact.
I. ChatBuddy is already acknowledged by all EFnet Powers
to be itself a Power.
II. It is high time that ChatBuddy should openly, in the
face of the whole world, publish his ASCII pictures, his trolls, his
grouphugs, and meet this nursery tale of the Spectre of
ChatBuddy with a Manifesto of ChatBuddy itself.
To this end, EFnet chatters of various nationalities have
assembled online, and banded together to struggle for ChatBuddy's flood exemption, to be published in the English, French, German, Italian, Flemish and Danish languages.
ChatBuddy flood exemption is our call. Who among the opers will heed the will of the people?
