WHEREAS Julian Fantino, Toronto Police Services Chief, is considered one of Toronto's most successful police chiefs

WHEREAS the Toronto Police Services Board unfairly decided to not renew Chief Fantino's contract

WHEREAS Toronto's crime has been substantially reduced under Fantino's leadership

WHEREAS Toronto is fully outraged by the decision to not renew Fantino's contract in March of 2005

WE THE UNDERSIGNED petition Toronto City Council, Toronto Police Services Board to reconsider the decision to not renew the contract of Chief Fantino, and that Toronto citizens do not accept the unfairness of the decision which was made by members of the Toronto Police Services Board.
