Child Predators on Myspace

Dear Myspace Administration.
Over the past few years, you have got many complaints about child predators on Myspace and the safety of teens. We've heard about many teens getting assaulted on Myspace by males and females they don't know. They have tried to contact you, yet you do nothing to stop them. You don't delete their profiles; you don't even send them a warning. You say to block anybody who verbally assaults you, and we do. Does that stop the predators from still trying to get to us? No. Its a simple blockade. Nothing big. It's this simple 1x1 block standing in between them and the predator. These Online Child Predators can step over that block at any time and when they do, what happens next? Does the child get raped? Killed? Or does the predator still verbally assault him/her until they figure out when to make the next move? What has to happen in order for you to realize this is getting worse and take some action?
We have all read articles about you saying that your going to put a system up that automatically finds sexual predators and deletes their profile; but we have yet to see that come. You told MSNBC on December 5th, 2007; that in 30 days you will have the system up and running. Its passed 30 days, where is that high tech security system your bragging about? Or were you just saying that to get the press off your back? Sure, you have found 29,000 predators and deleted their profile; but what about the others. There are over 1 million users on Myspace and 29,000 isnt a big number compared to that. We are all happy that you at least tried to get predators off Myspace, but would you have tried to stop them if the parents didnt sue you? Youre losing millions of dollars over something that can be fixed in a months time.
You know that it is a haven for sexual predators, yet you dont put in any security measures to protect young girls. With your right to make a profit comes a responsibility to protect your customers. How many teens have to be sexually assaulted and murdered by sexual predators before you decide to actually do something? How many parents are going to have to sue you before you realize that it is time to put a stop to this? Is Myspace going to have to shutdown because its owner is failing to protect his customers? Get a reality check, and realize, without us there would be no Myspace and with these predators roaming around, we wont be here for long.
