Childfree Sections in Upscale Canadian Restaurants

WE, the people of Canada, hereby request that there be childfree sections set aside in your bars and restaurants immediately. People dine out in part for the quiet and enjoyment that it offers and that enjoyment is often disrupted by unruly children who cannot be controlled by their parents. Sitting down to a meal that costs well over $100 is ruined when a child is screaming, crying, or banging utensils on the table.

Safety is also an issue for the wait staff and for the children. Wait staff carry items that are quite often very hot such as coffee, tea, etc. If a waiter/waitress runs into an unsupervised child and spills hot coffee on him/her, not only is the child in danger of being hurt, but your establishment is in danger of a law suit.
We respectfully ask that you honor our request and designate childfree sections in your restaurants.
