Chrono Trigger Novel Publication

This petition to Square-Enix, Ltd. is hereby established for the specific purpose of requesting an exception to the copyright policy of the company to allow for the publication and allocation of a full-length novel from the storyline of Chrono Trigger. Signers of this petition have expressed their full support for this project and wish that the corporation would allow for Wayne Kramer, the author described at http://www.chronotrigger.info, to complete, in full, this novel and agree that his work is acceptable and that their confidence is existent in his ability to finish it with the descriptive clarity, event emphasis, character, dialogue, and scene additions/enhancements, and fullness to which the story deserves. It is requested that Square-Enix support and accept this novel without giving up the copyrights to Chrono Trigger, but rather allowing the novel to be licensed and protected within it. Square-Enix should understand that this novel would be published with due credit to the games original authors, Square-Enix, and Wayne respectfully. Signers of this petition understand that we are attempting to work with Square-Enix without harassment, obscenity, or slander, but with respect and the desire to work together. We ask that Square-Enix consider the exceptions made for the Final Fantasy series with the creation of a movie and that a Chrono Trigger novel would be treated with the same acceptance. We also ask that Square-Enix acknowledge the desire of Chrono Trigger fans to see this novel completed and that the company will take the time to visit the aforementioned website for a more detailed description of this very serious and complex project before rushing to any decisive conclusions. The signers of this petition also thank Square-Enix for great games such as Chrono Trigger and ask for the allowance of this story to be enhanced and taken further into the literary world with the potential success that it would carry.
