Clanbase Cup

Clanbase has decided to change the way Eurocup works this season, it might in some ways be seen as an improvement but they left out of the Eurocup some games and mods which have had one for a lot of seasons. Some of those games have an equal or even higher participation level than others who have been given an EC, anyways discussing who deserves an EC or not is not the intention of this, what we propose is clanbase gives us an alternative for the ones who according to their new criteria will not have an Eurocup this and/or following seasons. This petition will be sent to clanbase chiefs together with a link to this page.

We players of some games who have had an Eurocup in the past and been denied to have one this season want to request a cup, we know we will not have our Eurocup this season, and you know we are not happy at all with it, it is not because of the money and lan finals EC will have from now on, all we want is to still have a kind of elite competition as we had for so many seasons standing above Open Cup. So our request is to have a new kind of cup which would replace the EC we had before, we do not care about it not being called Eurocup, call it a different name, but make it a competition for the best clans of the different communities such as UT CTF, UT2004 iCTF or MoH DEFAULT which had Eurocups in some cases for more than 2 years.

As we see it that would not get mixed with the Eurocup, and will not give you any extra work, all we can see is positive consequences by having that and no negative reasons, people will be happy again with it, players would be same interested as they were with the EC until now or even more since there will be the chance that if we do a big good job in it, CB and their partners might find it interesting again to give back an EC (which obviously will stand an be perceived as the top of the tops cup), with the big difference that we will still be able to play our competitions as we did until now, which at the moment is not possible because all we have been given is an Open Cup, it would attract more people, and admins, sups and any gamers interested in making our game a great success into CB will have an incentive with that, so it will have more coverage than if it is only an OC. Of course it will not have lan finals nor money prizes as the EC has now.

That's all we ask for and we think is not such a big thing to request, just one cup where we can have our top clans.
