I was unaware that funds from a cheque or bankers draft could be released before it had actually cleared.
In my opinion this helps fraud and I would like Parliament to implement changes to stop banks from allowing uncleared funds to appear as an available balance. I believe that funds from uncleared cheques and bankers drafts should only be released with clear warnings being given at the time of withdrawal as to the risks the customer is taking.
