Cold Showers for Abbey Pools

Those that swim for fitness at Cambridge's Abbey Pool know that at times the temperature can be a bit warm for those exercising hard.  Overheating in the pool is no fun, but the Abbey need to cater for the needs of many different users so pool temperature will always be a difficult subject.  What is also unpleasant is coming out of the pool all hot and bothered, and then having to use scalding hot showers.  With no way to cool down we leave the facility sweaty and uncomfortable.

A partial solution, however, would be to return to the situation that existed before the last refurbishment; have a single cold shower in the ladies and gents pool shower areas.  This easy and simple fix would allow people to shower normally and then cool down before getting changed. 

This fix has been suggested to the management before, but without effect.  We need the management to know how much benefit this simple change would make and how it would make you more likely to use the facility more often.
