Comcast/OLN: NHL Fans Want Their "Hockey TV!"

To Comcast Spectator, and its subsidiary, OLN:

We NHL fans applaud your acquisition of the NHL's broadcast rights for the next two calendar years, and look forward to seeing NHL hockey broadcast as it should be--as a showcase sport that has worldwide appeal. However, as your current broadcast range includes only 64 million homes in the United States, and does not include Canada or other NHL-friendly countries in Europe, Asia, etc., your broadcast range falls far short of the 90 million homes that ESPN reaches in the United States alone, in addition to the millions and millions of television providers across Canada and the rest of the world.

As such, we, The Undersigned, humbly request that you please aggressively market the NHL on OLN to non-Comcast cable and satellite TV providers in the United States (such as Time Warner, Cox, Charter, Cablevision, Adelphia, DirecTV, Dish Network, etc.) and abroad, and modify your license with the Canadian Television Regulatory Commission (CRTC) so that OLN may broadcast NHL games in Canada.
