Convincing Rick Scott Re-fund HBCUs

I have made this petition in an attempt to convince the newly elected governor of Florida, Rick Scott to re-fund the Historic Black Colleges and Universities. Although, there are only two HBCUs in Florida I know that there is great importance in all Historical Black Colleges and Universities. It is important to keep African American heritage in the State of Florida and, to stop tension between Tea Party activist and African Americans you must keep on funding colleges such as Bethune-Cookman and Florida Memorial University.
