Dawson and Joey Reunited Petition

To the WB Television Network, Kevin Williamson, Paul Stupin, Greg Prange, and Tom Kapinos:

Dear Kevin Williamson, Paul Stupin, Greg Prange, and Tom Kapinos,

Myself along with many faithful Dawson's Creek watchers were vastly shocked and disappointed...even heart-broken with the series finale and the choice you had Joey choose, and the fact that you had her claim it was the so-called "right" choice. I realize that you had an extremely hard choice to make, knowing you'd be disappointing millions no matter whom you made Joey choose, but I am here telling you it was not the right one.

I am here telling you that even if there were more Pacey and Joey fans, it was still, and always was the wrong choice, and that this is a petition created by a dedicated fan and signed by many others requesting a reunion episode with the cast returning, except for Michelle Williams obviously, and giving the fans the correct ending. Joey Potter choosing her soulmate, Dawson Leery, the man shes loved non-stop since the first episode.

It made little sense to many fans to even place Pacey and Joey together, when their romance was merely a season and a half whereas Joey and Dawsons was throughout every season. The season premiere of the sixth season, where Dawson and Joey finally made love gave Dawson and Joey fans hope that was shattered by the rest of the season with the waste of Joey and Eddies love affair that was never meant to last.

After giving three season finales to the precious kisses between Dawson and Joey in Decisions, Coda, and Swan Song, after showing us in every episode how much chemistry Katie Holmes and James Van Der Beek gave to Joey and Dawson, after the hope in The Kids Are All Right that we would finally receive the relationship we so desperately waited six years for, our hopes were shattered by restarting a relationship that died over a season ago for good reason, and most of us felt like we had watched the entire show for no reason.

Please do not leave the fans, who are still out there these months later crushed by the wrong ending to the show. Please give us a reunion episode in which Dawson and Joey, whom YOU told us were soulmates, be put together. They have never fallen out of love and the life Joey wants can never work with the life that Pacey will always have. She and Dawson are not only soulmates with more chemistry, but hope to share a similar lifestyle out of Capeside. They belong together. Youve made us watch their love since day one, but you didnt give it to us in the end. Please give us one more episode done right. Thank you.
