Dead Rising 2: Cross Platform

Cross-Platform gaming between the X-Box 360 and the PC is brilliant, but why have so few games implemented it? Dead-Rising 2 (Xbox 360, PC) has multiplayer. Why not let us play with our PC buddies and kill a couple of zombies? I do not have an X-Box 360, but have a pretty decent PC. I play Shadowrun with lots of Xbox-360 Gamers, and both sides agree that it is really cool. Capcom has used it before (Lost Planet) why not use it with one of your greatest upcoming games? In short: Dead Rising 2 with Cross Platform gameplay please. Come on, Blue Castle.
