Sub: We want debate on Justice Mukherjee Commission Report in the Parliament asap.
Respected MPs:
The entire nation is aware that Justice Mukherjee Commission investigating Netaji's disappearance has submitted its report to the honorable Home Minister of India on 8th of Nov 2005 ahead of its scheduled date of 14th Nov 2005. Officials in Taiwans interior ministry and the mayor of Taipei informed the panel that there was no air crash on August 18, 1945. Mukherjee also referred to documents sent by the US National Archive and Record Administration. Now it becomes the constitutional duty of the present government to table the report in totality on the floor of the house as early as possible. Its the moral responsibility of opposition parties to debate it on the floor of both the houses.
The nation now wants to know what the JMCI reports says and whether it's the concluding report or it throws open new questions which needs further investigation.
Let's not forget that when the Congress was leading a non-violent movement from within India under the leadership of Mahatma Gandhi, Netaji was organizing the Indians living in the South East Asia and formed the India National Army (INA) to fight tooth and nail with the British military might. No Indian patriot had dared to do so and had the will power to do so.
The nation has yet to honor this patriot of patriots, the Mahanayak of Indian freedom struggle. We need to know under what circumstances he disappeared and why didn't he surface again. Was there an international conspiracy to liquidate him and who all were party of this conspiracy?
We can honor Netaji only if the nation is told the truth he is given the rightful place in the pages of Indian freedom movement.
Jai Hind!
