Infinity Ward and Activision have outraged the PC gaming community by forcing IWNet on us and eliminating dedicated servers for Modern Warfare 2.
IWNet will be 100\% P2P with player matching, host migration (not load sharing) and all DLC must be paid for. This also means lag and glitching, no clan servers, no leagues, no source code releases, no modding, maps, skins, etc.
Please do not let something like this happen to AvP3! Having both P2P and Dedicated Servers as options would be just fine.
Dedicated servers are the heart and soul of the PC Community, We pay for them, we mod them, we admin them and we build our clans and communities of friends around them. The support that comes from the PC community adds to the lifetime of the game, creates new sales, enriches the gaming experience and and drives innovations that are typically included in future game titles.
Eliminating Dedicated Servers would be a TOTAL DISASTER for PC gamers waiting for AvP3. We need Dedicated Servers and Mod Tools for AvP3!
