Defend Michael Jackson's Honor And Dignity

On the 2nd October 2011,during the broadcasting of a program 'The Minute of Fame' on the Russian TV Channel One ('Pervyi Kanal') one of the members of the jury,Elena Malysheva, when commenting on the just seen performance insulted the honor and dignity of Mr.Michael Jackson by making extremely offensive and false remarks.
In her speech Ms.Malysheva claimed that, Michael Jackson "had never been a symbol of peace",he was "drug addict" and "died of drug overdose".
She also clearly stated that Mr.Jackson's charity contribution was nothing else but only one failed try to deliver "some kind of things to children in Africa",which was according to Elena Malysheva "one of the most shameful "Help Africa" campaigns ever".
Moreover,despite the FACT that Mr.Jackson was acquitted on all counts on June 13th 2005,Ms.Malysheva allowed herself to say that "Michael Jackson was accused of child molestation and that was proved".
We would also like to point out that the program was recorded and then broadcasted,which means that the channel's editorial staff did not work properly to prevent the dissemination of deliberately false information.
The lies being said on the Russian TV Channel One offend not only millions of Michael Jackson's fans,but also insult the honor and dignity of his family,especially his children.
As this Channel is one of the leading channels in forming a public opinion in Russia and other Russian-speaking countries and communities all over the world,we demand those responsible (Elena Malysheva and editorial staff of Channel One) for making these false and offensive remarks,discrediting Mr.Jackson's name and legacy - to be punished and to make a public apology.

This petition intended to urge the Head of pubcaster Channel One,Mr.Ernst to take actions against his employee Elena Malysheva and make her to make a public apology for insulting Mr.Michael Jackson's honor and dignity by spreading false and offensive information.
