Demand for acceleration of Iranian immigration cases to Australia

A brief review on visa processing times of immigration applications lodged from Iran strongly indicates that both online and paper-based visa applications for permanent residency suffer from "low priority" treatment in terms of processing and/or inefficient communication and document exchange with external agencies residing in Iran. The result is that DIAC visa processing standards are negatively affected.
Applicants cannot ignore the fearful reality of a profound global economic crisis and its life changing consequences together with the unique characteristics and conditions of Iran particularly the changing conditions following the presidential elections. Such dramatic changes extend to all facets of our future immigration arrangements. Our concern is that any further international pressure will add to an already volatile and unstable condition and will likely result in greater obstacles being placed in the way of our visa processing.
Australia, however, is in great need of the skilled talent we can provide and to the undersigned Iranian citizens, Australia is a country of very high standing for its admired humanitarian and anti-discrimination practices and holds pride of place at the top of migration choices for the highly educated people of Iran. DIACs performance and failure to adjust to change shows that it does not truly understand the severity of the situation in Iran and the potential losses of talent that may be blocked from leaving Iran as a result.
Considering the above and with due respect to Australian laws and regulations, we respectfully ask for measures of improvement to address the acceleration of our immigration cases if and wherever possible.
