Demand for Mike Helton's resignation from NASCAR

NASCAR has been in severe trouble since the late 1990's. In this time, Bill France Jr. had appointed Mike Helton president of NASCAR and since this time, many inconsistencies have plagued the organization and allbut destroyed NASCAR's credibility among it's drivers, crews and the majority of its fans. As of this writing, Brian France is the CEO of NASCAR and Mike Helton is the President of the organization. While France has the final say, Helton has more of a hand in what goes on and is responsible for an incredible majority of NASCAR's rule/consistency problems in the last several years.
The fans are getting tired of not knowing what the rules will be from one week to the next. We are tired of questionable officiating and are tired of even the possibility that NASCAR may be playing favorites by some of its decisions.
This petition is meant to show the NASCAR community that we, the fans and sole reason this sport exists, are disgusted with the way things have been run since Mike Helton has been running things and we would humbly request his resignation immediately for the benefit of a sport adored by millions across the USA.
Summing it up, Mike Helton, please resign from your position ASAP and hopefully before the beginning of the 2005 season.
