Desecration of Native American Burial Site near Fort Payne, AL.

WE the undersigned citizens of the United States do not agree with the desecration of the Native American burial grounds that is taking place due to the work being done on Hwy. 11 near Fort Payne, Alabama on the Hammonds site. We request that the Archaelogical Excavation cease immediately. This desecration is a violation of The Ancient Tribal Religious Beliefs, Tribal Inheritance Rights, Traditions and Customs, as well as our Ancestors Sacred Burials, Sacred Personal Items, Materials, and Sacred Sites. We the people, support any and all actions necessary to stop this desecration immediately!
