To the Honourable President and members of the Senate in Parliament assembled:
The petition of the undersigned shows:
Our feelings of abhorrence and concern that Australia is practicing such a form of child abuse by incarcerating young children by detaining them in Detention Centres. This contravenes the United Nations Conventions of the Rights of Children.
Your petitioners ask that the Senate:
To action the placement of children in other facilities that allow them access to education and to exercise their rights to enjoy their life as children in a healthy environment.
