Do not rename Marshall Fields

We, the residents of Chicago and patrons of Marshall Fields will promise to never shop at Federated Department Stores' "Macy's."

We feel that changing the name to Macy's is a personal insult.

So instead of picketing or protesting your presence here in our Great City, we will hit you where it hurts the most.

There are plenty of other department stores that are no different from Macy's (Nordstroms, Bloomingdales, Sears...) where we can purchase the products we need.

You may ask, "What could we do to keep your business here at Federated Department Stores?"

And our answer is, "Don't change the name."

So until you wise up and keep the name Marshall Fields, expect your profits to hit rock bottom.
