Donald Rumsfeld Must be Replaced

Not since McNamara has the Department of Defense had a more inept Secretary.
Donald Rumsfeld showed his true colors with his answer to the young soldier who asked why the DoD could not supply the armor for thier vehicles so they didn't have to scrounge the local land fill for scrap metal. His answer: "you have to go to war with the Army you have." is the most asinine answer he could have given. He has had OVER TWO years to harden the vehicles, the lack of which has cost life and limb of hundreds of soldiers and marines who otherwise would have survived with minor injuries. He has failed in his duty to provide for and protect the army he sent into harms way. His obvious disregrad for the safety and security of the forces conducting the war in Iraq is unconscionable and he should not be allow to continue in this job. FOR THIS as well as other reasons, DONALD RUMSFELD MUST NOT BE ALLOWED TO REMAIN AS SECRETARY OF DEFENSE. IF YOU AGREE PLEASE SIGN THIS PETITION.
