Here are the facts
The cost of attending football matches in the UK next season has risen by twice the rate of inflation despite huge increases in the revenue from television rights. The tables below outline the cost of each club's cheapest full-price adult season ticket compared with the previous 2007/2008 season. The average \% increase for the premier league is 7.8\% more than twice the rate of consumer price inflation. The worst offenders have raised their prices by as much as 32\%.
dontpriceusout.com has been set-up to gain support from football fans from all over the country. All we need is your name, location and your favourite club. Send the link to friends and family who will also want to voice their support. You can also add your email address to keep up to date with the campaign.
The full list of names will then be passed onto the Football Association in January of 2009 with the aim of forcing the powers in English football to address the issue of soaring ticket prices before the start of the 2009/2010 season.
We hope that power in numbers will influence the decision makers at every club to put the fans first when considering ticket prices.
Simply fill in the box below to add your support to the cause and receive regular updates on the campaign and the build up to the big hand-over in January of 2009.
Many Thanks
