Downgrading Pluto's planet status

This Is Wrong. I do not mean that it is wrong from the scientific point
but, rather, from a moral point of view. Well, maybe moral is a bit
harsh. Public decency may better fit the situation. Pluto has been considered a planet from the time of its discovery in 1930. If astronomers feel the need to set standards for what constitutes a planet, they should be able to do so but NOT at the expense of an existing planet.
Pluto IS a planet and has always been so. Leave its classification alone and designate future discoveries as you please.
Leave Pluto alone. It was a planet, in the hearts and minds of the public IS a planet and shall always remain a planet.
If you agree with my sentiments, please add your name and voice to the effort to return Pluto to its rightful classification, as a planet.
