Dump Gonzales

Dump Gonzales.

The United States needs to relieve Attorney General Alberto Gonzales of his duties as soon as possible. Gonzales has apparently:

- Tried to bully his predecessor, the then ailing John Ashcroft.

- Fired good US Attorneys and replaced them with ones who will pursue Democrats and ignore transgressions of Republcans

- Lied to Congressional investigations into these enormous lapses of judgment and fealty to his oath of office

Any one of these would be sufficient cause for an honorable man to resign. Gonzales needs to go.

As many elected officials are less than inclined to do anything unless they see evidence of public support or public outrage we created this petition.

This petition is not about parties, not about elections, it is only to send a message to the Congress that your opinion is that Gonzales is unsuitable for the position of responsibility and trust he holds and he should be replaced as soon as possible by someone with ethics and honor.
