A new $30m road for west Christchurch has won the thumbs up from city councillors. /KH
So here we are the West has been given all this money for a new road. What about the EAST of Christchurch. We have been sitting here for over 2 years with roadworks galore all over the place. South New Brighton has had roadworks which initially were to be 7 weeks, over 2 years later we have had them done repeatedly. One way traffic over Bridge Street, roadworks have been done at least 3 times outside our school with holes reoccurring. This seems to be a waste of money to me and we desparately need something done over our side of town.
I honestly don't know how they can do this when their side of town really just doesn't compare to ours - it truly has become The East vs the West.
