Education Reform for Michigan

We would like educational choices so that we can choose what best suits our childrens academic needs, weather attending the local public school, local charter school or an online cyber charter school. We want equality in education, so that where you live or what your dad makes doesn't dictate the quality of your education. We want to be able to shop for the foreign language our child wants rather than choose from two that are available at the local high school. We want our children exposed to foreign language when they are young and better able to learn it. We want our children to have access to private music lessons if they want or need it. We want our children to be able to choose their physical education classes, weather it be gym class at their local school or ballet at a local dance studio or hockey at the local recreation center. These options shouldn't be reserved for the wealthy. We want this all done in a way that is cost-effective so that our hard earned tax dollars are not wasted in bureaucracy and red tape but paid directly to the provider.
