Eliminate the need for front license plates in Illinois

The undersigned propose that 625 ILCS 5/3‑413 be amended to exclude the requirement for a front license plate in the state of Illinois.
The undersigned have read the pros and cons of having a front license plate and feel that the benefits to both the state and themselves greatly outweighs the need for this law.
There are currently 9.3 million registered vehicles in the state of Illinois. At the current cost of approximately $3.00 per plate, this could conceivably save the state 15-27 million dollars annually.
