There is a medical emergency thats needs immediate attention.
To the US Navy, The State Of California, The Governor of California, CDOC, Norco, the warden at Norco, Dr. Cole, at Norco, Ca. Board of Health, and all others with responsibility, and aware of the problem.

Inmates and family members of inmates report medical diagnosis of H Pylori which the prison is refusing to treat. H Pylori is everywhere inside and outside of prison and is the bug that causes ulcers. It is typically found in water and ingested in food. It requires that TWO antibiotics be administered for a two week period.

There is another health risk located across the street where there is a lake of standing water swarming with mosquitos. Fontana is the area where the West Nile Virus epidemic is already in progress.

In addition to calling Dr. Cole at Norco about denying antibiotics to inmates who have H Pylori, and arbitrarily extending sentences by refusing to process inmates who have served their time for release.
The Warden at Norco for failing to supervise Dr. Cole, failing to protect inmates from the West Nile Virus and failing to supervise counselors and guards from threatening inmates with retaliation if they ask for medical care.

We are focusing on Norco today but the West Nile Virus is expected to reach all the way to Northern California in just a few months, so whatever we do today will touch us all soon. Silence is deadly, let us NEVER be silent.

1) It indicates unsanitary conditions for food and water of the inmates.
2) It can lead to increased risk for stomach cancer.
3) Untreated ulcerations, if they bleed, can lead to death of the inmate
(death by medical neglect)
4) It is easy to treat but TWO antibiotics are needed in a two week period for treatment.
5) The more run down an inmate the more likely West Nile Virus can be fatal.

The water in the vistors area is clear yet the inmates water is black and there is no way to get that water to have it tested, however, a sample of the visitor water has been obtained to test just to be sure it is not also contaminated.

The food that the prison lists on the inmates weekly menu is not what is actually served. The inmates are served what is supposed to be chicken (the inmates call it mystery meat.) five times per week without fail.

We the undersigned are appalled by the neglect and lack of medical attention to the inmates concerned. We demand the water be tested and cleaned up immediatly, and the necessary steps are taken to avoid this disese altogether.

We do not want retalliation to the inmates who have spoken up and demand an investigation of the guards at this facility.
