We the Canadian gun owners have never commited a single violent crime would like for the government of Canada to put an end to the current gun legislation that has plagged this nation for many years. The whole reasoning for Canadas current gun laws are flaud violent crime is higher in areas where there are strict gun laws. In the USA alone they have some of the highest violent crime rates in the world, those figures are based on cities such as Chicago, Detroit, LA New York all with extremely strict gun laws; inactuality if those areas were in fact femoved from the USA, Americas violent crime rate would be in the bottom 4. Even when you look at states such as Idaho and Utah and compare them to places like Winnipeg, Toronto and even Thunder Bay you would see that the violent crime rates are much higher in the Canadian cities. This alone is proof possitive that our current legislation regarding guns in the nations must be completely dismantled.  I would also like the government of Canada to take this into consideration, and that is Australia has even more stringent gun laws than we do here and their violent crime rates have actually increased by 65%, a scary side note is that there is a major party in Australia that not only wants guns banned but they are also looking at people who know martial arts registered and the practice itself banned. It is only a matter of time before that happens in Canada all it would take is for one power hungery politician to be fed by an anti selfdefence zealotry to do this here. If the government can not trust its citizens with guns then how can we trust our government to rule our nation?
