End Unfair Credit Practices

Financial entities are allowed to routinely adjust our "Credit Ratings", damaging our good names and credit, without properly informing us of your rights. We are only given limited rights to challenge these reports, only after they have placed serious restrictions on our financial liberty.
While this system works to the benefit of established institutions and individuals who control our income, it is a great detriment to our ability to make purchases (declined credit), own homes or apartments (declined loans and apartment leases) - and has even been expanded to influence premiums for insurance and other needs. As our control over this system decreases, its influence continues to spread.
We ask that this system be dismantled and replaced with a system that, while allowing creditors to properly discern proper rates of interest for lending money, allows the average American more freedom and control in regulating these systems.
And we also ask that our Social Security numbers be severed from this system. If the financial institutions wish to identify us by a numerical system, they can certainly afford to create their own system for doing so. They should not be allowed to violate our privacy by cohersing us into providing this information. That was not the intent of the Social Security system. And they certainly should not be allowed to use that system to limit our financial liberty.
