Andrew Colgan a British Scientist and MS Victim removed himself from his family environment to Dignitas in Switzerland, Andrew’s story has recently been highlighted in the Sun National Newspaper and has received many comments in favour of Euthinasia, and highlighted the simple fact that Euthanasia should be the choice of the individual not that of a Government body.
Euthanasia was on Andrew’s mind, but due to our Governments failure to listen and understand Andrew and the many others who have wished for the same (The legalisation of Euthanasia in the UK) Andrew had to leave this world alone, away from his family and friends simply because our Government will not pass legalisation on this issue.
This Petition is to give people like Andrew the Right they so deserve, the right to CHOOSE when they’ve had enough of pain and suffering, a choice that cannot and should not be in the hands of a (Cold Government Official) but in the hands of the sufferer or the sufferers family, friend and Medical Advisors.
Please help us change this law, so that those who wish to end their suffering may do so with dignity and honour and in the presence of their loved ones.
