evboard, mods and equality

something needs to be done, so maybe this will help.
before i start, this is not aimed at all moderators, there are some who are generally nice and understanding. ok:
i have been talking to people from evboard, and the similarities of opinion are shockingly similar.
we are unhappy at how evboard.com has become a less friendly place, and more of a place where the moderators hand out bans to anyone for anything EXCEPT for on subscribers and 'evboard veterans', and where people can mock and degrade the less known members.
this is highly unfair. this is so bad that even a band member has said how s/he dislikes some of the mods for how horrible they are.
it is not right that someone gets banned for 5 days for being unhappy about and admittedly speaking very strongly about a subject she has experienced badly, then apologise and leave it...THEN get banned. whilst a more 'experienced' member gets banned for only one or two days for doing the same thing.
it is not right that moderators say how much they hate postwhoring, but certain veteran members may postwhore all they want without even a warning or talking to.
it is not right that 'noobs'/new members can get banned permanently for making one, maybe two mistakes, whereas when any regular members make a mistake, they just get a warning, although this does seem to have stopped or at least lessened now thankfully. but that is mostly likely because people ARE worried about posting. the board is not what it should be because the moderators seem to rule by fear. on purpose or by accident, i am not sure. but members leave before they start or post nearly nothing because of this.
please, we are just asking that the mods be less biased and more open minded and also be more consistent with the punishments they hand out. we cannot just severly punish anyone that breaks a rule whilst the other members who do the same or worse get nothing, it is unfair and petty. it is also unfair that subscribers and veteran members get no bad treatment whatsoever compared to the newer or less known members.
evboard is becoming more and more like a dictatorship (although that may be exaggerating slightly) and before long, one by one the band members could stop posting, or at least speak out more.
please, if you want a better evboard, if you want to make your point to mods anonymosly without the risk of geting banned forever for just telling them your opinion. Do sign, and let them know what you think. They do not own this site, so they won't know who you are :) that is why i started this petition. to be anonymos and escape punishment for writing what many people are thinking. names will not show up on the petition but feel free to put a fake name or a bunch of characters to feel safer. and you can choose not to show your e-mail address (i reccomend this)
