We, the undersigned Petition the powers that be in Hollywood for a sequel to Army of Darkness ( Evil Dead series). Both Sam Raimi, (Director of Spiderman) and Bruce Campbell have expressed their intrest in such a project but have stated that it wont happen to due politics in Hollywood.
The facts are that this series has been re-released on Video more than any other series in recent history. This would not have happened if there was not sufficent demand to back it up. The movies did not gross a large box office due to a limited budget, but with the Director Of Spiderman at the helm and a decent budget backing, it a New Evil Dead movie has a large Box office and video potential. Especially following sucesses of such fantasy movies as 'Lord of the Rings' and horror movies such as 'The Ring', the Evil Dead movies transcend genres.

I'd love to see another Evil Dead move, I wouldn't even mind if it was done in the same style, even leaving cgi out of it, part of what made the old movies so good was how fake they were, they looked terrible, and yet they were the greatest movies of all
