We, the undersigned, are opposed to the following idea that the Rugby League International Federation (RLIF) have proposed for the Rugby League World Cup to be held in Australia in 2008:
Group 1 to feature Australia, New Zealand, England + one other team. Top 3 to make the Semi-Finals.
Groups 2 & 3 to constist of 3 teams each, with the winner of each group facing each other to gain entry to the remaining Semi-Final spot against the winner of Group 1.
We, the undersigned, believe that each team should have an equal opportunity to win the World Cup.
