Whereas good footpaths are essential public infrastructure for people without cars and should be built so that people can walk quickly, pleasantly and safely to the Town Centre, and
Walking is good for people's health, our community and our environment,
We, the people of Port Hedland, petition the Town Council, Landcorp and the Minister for Planning and Infrastructure to ensure that the footpath between Daylesford St and the South Hedland Town Centre is retained as the most direct route from Koombana to the South Hedland, and not rerouted around the swimming pool to make way for commercial development.
