"The poor implementation of logging is a shame, since it can be done correctly. I travel approx 2 hrs to ride the trails here and typically come here 4 to 6 time per year. This is a tragic loss that will require a large amount of vol. time to correct."

"It's really sad that profit is put before recreational opportunities for the people of Lack. County. Instead of seeing the potential of this park recreationally, special interests win again."

"I have also witnessed the damage that the lumbering has done to trails in the area. The entire end of my favorite trail at Merli Sarnoski park is now entirely unusable. I understand that a number of people have invested personal efforts to maintain these "

"Please spare the trails, for they offer the community unique access to the great outdoors. Hiking up singletrack is a much more intimate experience than walking up wider logging or fire roads, for the wider roads don't provide the same shade or proximity "

"It should be against the law to harvest timber in a high use receational area. It's not worth any amount of money to scar the land like most poorly run harvesting outfits."
