Final Fantasy VI for the Nintendo DS

Final Fantasy VI was a wonder when it was released for the SNES in 1994. So far, there has been the PSX remake and the GBA remake, but those are more of a port than a remake. With the release of both Final Fantasy III and IV on the Nintendo DS, we have seen these gems in full 3-D for the first time. Why should these two games be the only Final Fantasy's to grace the DS? Imagine a real opera singer dring the Aria Di Mezzo Carattere, instead of a synthesized voice. Imagine being able to hear the sorrows of Terra and Celes as the world begins to end. Imagine seeing Kefka destroy the world in full 3-D.

Not only do we want Final Fantasy VI in full 3-D with voice acting, we want the script to be as it was when it was released in Japan. We do not want "sons of submariners" nor do we want any other meaningless censorship. Square, if you are reading this, please do not taint your own miracle with censorship. America can handle swears in a Final Fantasy, america can handle if characters in you games attempt suicide, we can handle prisoners being beaten, and we can handle a bare buttox on a summon. Final Fantasy VI is a dark story and to try to make it seem happier by blocking the darkest scenes, you will destroy your game.

In the end it all comes down to this, if you want to have Final Fantasy VI, a game some call the greatest RPG of all time, to be remade and uncensored for the Nintendo DS, simply sign your name below and prove your loyalty to Square and Final Fantasy VI. If we can get several thousand signatures, I am confident that we can be blessed with Final Fantasy VI in all its glory for the DS.
