The has come to assert your power of ownership of the Kansas City Chiefs and clean house after this embarrassing 4-12 2007 football season. Only by purging the front office and coaching staff will the Chiefs ship have a chance to begin to be righted -- and that means firing GM Carl Peterson AND head coach Herm Edwards today.
It's time to move on and "get over it" as your head coach would say. Marty Schottenheimer would be an excellent choice as the Chiefs general manager, as would Bill Cowher be an ideal head coach in K.C.
As Chiefs fans, we can no long idly sit back and stomach another losing season of Peterson's "five year plan" that was instigated in the late '80s. Do the right thing, Mr. Hunt, and fire Peterson and Edwards TODAY to take the first step in ending Kansas City's playoff win drought.
