This is a petition to the NHL and the NHLOA to FIRE NHL referee Stephane Auger. He is a very controversial referee, making controversial calls, and even non-calls. His disgusting call against Alex Burrows of the Vancouver Canucks on January 11, 2010 has now only spawned anger against Auger, but this petition as well.
He was seen before the game speaking with Alex Burrows. He said to him "I'm going to get you back", and that is exactly what he did, calling two controversial penalties against him, where there was no penalty at all. This cost the Vancouver Canucks the hockey game. This is not the first time Auger has called a controversial penalty or not made a call that has cost a team the game.
Please support the campaign to FIRE Stephane Auger, or in the very least, fine, suspend and ban him from refereeing games where he holds a personal vendetta against a team or a player.
