If Ferrets and Chinchillas are allowed as pets, then why not rabbits?

Life Span
Ferrets: 8-11 years
Chinchillas: 12-20 years
Rabbits: [depening on the breed] 5-15 years

Cleanliness
Ferrets: cages need cleaned once a week
Chinchillas: cages need cleaned every two days
Rabbits: cages need cleaned once a week

All 3 animals are social, need food and water changed daily, and are easy to take care of.

Ferrets tend to smell if you don't wash them, the same goes with rabbits. Also Chinchillas need dust baths. If you think about it each of these animals requires special needs but they seem to equal out in the end.

So if Ferrets and Chinchillas are allowed, then why not rabbits?
